Yesterday Jamie and I took our dog, Piper, over to swim in my in-laws pool.  Let me explain something before posting these pictures, the pool (any pool or place with lots of water for that matter) is Piper’s Happy Place.  We all have a said “Happy Place”, the place that we day dream about when we cannot escape reality, well the pool is hers.

Swimming wears Piper out big time!!  She will literally go and go until we force her to leave; at which point she normally gives us puppy dog eyes and we stay for a little while longer.  I cave easily, what can I say…  She swims and chases two water toys most of the time that we are at the pool; she will retrieve either of them regardless of how many times we throw it and if she is really lucky Jamie will “race” her to them.  It is really entertaining to watch, and Jaime is usually a good sport letting her win.

I am so excited that I finally get to post these pictures!!  My husbands family was in town for the holidays so we (the younger generation) took it upon ourselves to organize a Cousins Shoot for a surprise Mother’s Day present.  Jamie’s Mom and sisters are notorious for arranging “Cousin” photos for well as long as they can remember but it has gotten to be very difficult to do since everyone has grown up and moved away.  Actually, Jamie is one of three (soon to be two- Kenny is growing up and going to FSU next fall) that are still in town.

So we gave the pictures to the Mom’s last weekend and they were a huge hit- so exciting.  I think they are pretty good, what do you think?

While taking some family pictures for my Mom’s birthday present I was able to get some great pictures of my brother and sister-in-law.  They are always so much fun to be around and it was great to take some playful pictures of the two of them.  I am not sure that they have had any pictures taken since they were married almost three years ago.
